Similar to North African harissa, shatta is a chili paste originally from Jordan and Palestine. Fiery and nuanced, with a bright zing of apple cider vinegar, it adds layered heat to any number of dishes; brush over roasted vegetables and grilled meats, stir into soups and stews, or swirl into cool labneh.
