After spending most of the 90s playing in punk bands up and down the I-5 corridor, drummer Rachel Carn launched Magic Kombucha in Olympia in 2006. Their cheeky slogan (It's STILL the Water) pokes fun at Olympia's macrobrew history while at the same celebrates the area's reputation as a wellspring of indie creativity. Magic remains rooted in the PNW's punk & DIY scenes, championing an ethos that values community, independence & mutual aid above else; it doesn't hurt that the 'booch is some of the best we've ever tried.
